We just made some yesterday. I squeezed the juice from 4 large lemons, added 2 cups of sugar and water to a 1 gallon sized picture....it's about all gone, so I guess I should have bought more lemons. I don't put the lemon rinds in mine, it make it harder to pour from the pitcher.

However you make it, remember that the rinds will very quickly ruin the lemonade (also will ruin your tea if you add them to it unless you are going to use it all within an hour or two.) Add a slice if you want to, but make sure it is added at the time of serving.

Lemonade 2 cups sugar 1 cup hot water 2 cups fresh lemon juice 1 gallon cold water 1 lemon, sliced Mint sprigs, for garnish
In a 1 gallon container, place sugar and hot water, and stir until sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice and cold water to render 1 gallon. Stir until well mixed. Pour lemonade over glasses of ice, squeeze slice of lemon on top of each, and garnish with a sprig of mint.

I use the juice of 3 or 4 lemons depending on size. Add one cup of sugar and water to taste. I also slice at least one lemon and put that in.

I realize this is not exactly what you asked for, but you have to try this drink. It is so good!!15 cups seeded and cubed watermelon 2 (12-ounce) cans frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed Ice Process watermelon, in batches, in a blender or food processor until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher. Add lemonade concentrate and whisk to combine. Serve chilled and over ice. You might also like:

The way my grandmother would make lemonade is take fresh squeezed lemon juice, add water and sugar to taste. She would slice the squeezed lemon and add that to her lemonade. Her lemonade was very sweet, but oh so very good.

I need a recipe for homemade lemonade. Weather is warm and I have a cravin', but don't know how to make it from scratch.
