This is THE chili you want for hot dogs! Tastes GREAT and low in fat!
3 lbs. lean ground beef 2 - 3 cups water 1 large onion, chopped fine 1 1/2 cups ketchup 1 teaspoon chili powder 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 2 tablespoons chili sauce 1 tablespoon hot sauce
Cook the ground beef, onion and water until the beef is done (no longer pink). Drain well. Return beef and onions to pot and stir in all the remaining ingredients and add enough water to obtain the desired consistency (1 - 2 cups). Stir and simmer about 1 hour.
I like to make a double batch and freeze it in containers just the right size for us. It keeps in the freezer well.
