Creamed Corn
5 T. butter
5 C. frozen or fresh corn
7 oz. whole milk (just shy of a cup)
2 T. cornstarch
2 T. sugar
2 t. salt (or to taste)
black pepper (to taste)

Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.
Stir in corn and milk.
Sprinkle with cornstarch, sugar and salt; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally 10-12 minutes.
Season with black pepper to taste.

( If you use fresh corn ,cut off the cob and scrap the cob with the back of the knife to get all the juice)
