thanks yall. my mom also suggested the resteraunt flour but i couldnt find it at walmart :( so i got southern somethign and white lilly lol and thanks you for the advice on the kneading

My momma said the secret to a good biscuit was to knead the dough as little as possible? Less kneading, the more and fluffier it will be. And her's were wonderful.

and...if you should not be able to find the Southern Biscuit Mix....then my next best flour is the White Lily Self Rising Flour and again...just follow the directions on the bag.

seriously go get you a bag of Southern Biscuit Mix Formula L...it's the restaurant style mix...and a quart of buttermilk....follow the directions on the package...I promise you it will be worth it!!!!
