Holly Tater Recipe

Holly Farms Potato Wedges

Pressure cooker required for the real ones.

Prepare potatoes Wash and cut in wedges (10 wedges)

Dip in milk/egg wash

Roll in basic seasoned flour

Drop in hot oil (350) Brown on high 3 min.

Put under pressure and start timing (6 min) on med heat.

Remove with tongs and drain after reducing pressure


Milk/Egg wash

Blend together

1/2 C. milk

1 egg beaten


Seasoned Flour

1 C. flour

1 T. salt

11/2 tsp. pepper (or to taste)

1 tsp. poultry seasoning


Above is for a 4 Qt. cooker.

If you use a 6Qt. . cooker, brown 6min. and pressure 6 min.

4 qt. cooker: 5C. or 40oz. of oil

6qt. 6C. or 48oz. oil

Does anyone have the old Holly Tater Recipe and would be willing to share it?


Drove by what used to be the old Wilkesboro location the other day and sure wished I could remake some of those memories.
