Has anyone tried the already marinated / seasoned Pork Tenderloin? The have been advertising Smithfield Pork Tenderloin on TV that looks pretty good. I've never made Pork Tenderloin. Is it like pork chops? Any recommendations? Would it be better to cook like a roast w/ veggies?

Here are some ways I fix a pork tenderloin:

1. Stuff it with dry cranberries or with a package of fruit bits. If the pork tenderloin is in two sections, stuff between them and tie with string to hold in place. If the tenderloin is one piece, cut part way in the center and stuff it. Tie to hold in place. Roast in the oven according to directions.

2. Sometimes I add sliced baking apples, (Granny Smith) the last hour in the oven. The apples may be with or without the skin, whichever you prefer. Pork and Apples are delicious!

3. Marinate over night with any type of seasoning you prefer and put in crock pot the next morning. It will be so tender at the end to the day.

4. In a crock pot, simmer it with Kraft Honey BBQ Sauce and onion all day. Shred it apart with two forks the last half hour of cooking and let it simmer to soak up the sauce. You may add more sause if you desire. Put on a roll and you have a wonderful pork BBQ sandwich.

i use one of those pork packets in the spice isle. they come with all the ingrediants and all you do is cook it.

They have some different types of spice mixes in the spice isle at the grocery store that are good. I have not tried the pork kind, but the Mrs. Dash poultry seasoning is awesome.

Also, I cut mine into sections and used a McCormick Slow Cooker Pulled Pork barbeque packet on about 2-3 pounds of my last pork loin. It was awesome, but my husband didnt like it, he said it was a little too sweet.

I also have made pork roast out of parts of mine before by just sprinkling it with garlic salt and pepper, and then adding potatoes and carrots about 45 minutes before it is completely done.

Good Luck!

I drizzle mine with honey and butter and cover with foil. Tastes great.

We ate one last Sunday for lunch and left overs for dinner.

After washing, cover it good (like a marinating sauce) with Liquid Smoke. Cover pan with aluminum foil. Bake on 200 or 250 for 8 hours. This is delicious. You can also put this on a smoker.

I just bought pork tenderloin and would like some good recipes for it. If anyone has some, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
