i have always just guessed at it, just usually i will take a tablespoon and get some out like that, but if you have a tablespoon for measuring then use that.

there is 4 tbs on one stick of butter it should be on the wrapper of the paper.

Its on the box ,it will say serving size 1 tbs and then tell how many total servings are in a box .If it is a 4 stick box devide by 4 = TBS per stick

Most sticks of butter have markings on the wrapper to show you each tbs in a stick and yes there are 8. Good luck with your cooking!

I guess its a dumb question, but how many tbs is a stick of butter? I have a recipe that calls for a stick, and I only have a tub.
