I use a about 2 cups or so of V8 juice in my soup and also some fordhook lima beans and maybe a can of pinto beans also....

beef roast (shredded) sound too good. Do you add water to beef roast?? if so how much water or what? I guess I can try to use beef roast instead of ground beef. i would use tomatoes with basil. Thank all of you for helped me out. I appreciate this very much.

You might want to try using about half of a beef roast (shredded) that's been cooked in a crockpot, and a cup or so of the broth. Also you could use a large can of Romano's crushed tomatoes with basil in place of some of the diced tomatoes.

oh darn, i did forgot to add white rice to my recipe. I use one cup of cooked rice. No way I aint add potatoes because it have high sodium and natural sweet. Corn is good enough because it have natural sweet in it.

you forgot potatoes and white rice. basil will give it a good flavor. i make one like that , bu8t make it with macaronni, and i fry the hamburger meat in worcestershire sauce ..then add it to the soup. my family calls it "suzie mac". it's good.

Thank you all. I appreciated ur help very much. I will try different of those of ur suggested to taste which is the best tasty. Country style beef n cabbage soup sound very good to me. Thank all of you again. I hope yall have a great weekend. In despite of rainy weather.

Knorr brand powdered beef boullion is far better than the cube kind. They have it at Save A Lot in the hispanic food section. Since I discovered it I don't ever buy the cubes anymore. I always use it in my soup.

I agree w/t Bushman, red & black pepper. This sounds alot like the recipe for goulash that my Mom used to make - try eating w/t cornbread.

Add 1 chopped Green Pepper ( for the bite of pepper) Fresh ground Black Pepper ( It's just Good) 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (Goes great with Cabbage) 1 can of Tomato paste ( To make it smooth and creamer)
Name it Country Style Beef-n-Cabbage Soup

You could add a can of tomato soup, black pepper, and some basil.
And you could call it Rebel Vegetable Beef Soup

I would love for anyone to help me out to name this delicious soup and also need help with improving tasty. I invent this recipe by myself.
I 1/2 to 2 pound ground beef or any will do. one head of cabbage, chopped one can of sweet corn, drained the liquid 4 carrots, chopped about 3 to 4 diced celery one medium sliced sweet onion 2 to 3 cans of diced tomatoes 6 buillon of beef flavor one large can of beef stock or 2 to 3 beef stock
I chopped cabbage, carrots then diced celery and sliced thin onion, put them in soup pot or very large pot then I added drained corn and undrained diced tomato with water to rinse to pour back in pot and beef stock. I cooked ground beef and i dashed garlic powder and onion powder to cook then added to vegetable without drain the grease. turn heat on veg n beef in high till it boil then turn it down into simmer for an hour or till the carrot is soft. Can you help me what need the flavor to be add to this soup? what was it called? just cabbage soup?? Thank you
