I love this pie. Nothing like grandma's though.

My grandma has had a stroke and cant remember how to make it. she called it egg custard, but it was like a spongey cake not like a puddin. she baked it in a cake pan and I remember it had like 6 eggs, vanilla, and maybe flour in it. Any help would be great, She asks for it but I dont know how it make it for her. Thanks!
