You can also peel hard boil eggs with a spoon, they showed on the show.

My sister actually told me, but she probably did see it there

That's my problem, too, Daddy P. The last several times I've made them the shell stuck to the egg, or the yolk wasn't done, so it's all become just a big mess. I don't know what's changed, either, unless maybe I'm just using fresher eggs like Marie said, and didn't realize it.

So far I've used this method three times, and they've come out perfect every time. It does take a little more electricity than boiling, but I'm usually baking something else at the same time so I'm really just sharing oven space.

When the Best before date is a week or so due they'll peel better. Fresh eggs will not, in my experiences anyway.

Thank you very much antithesis . I think I will try this . I have never had luck with boiling eggs I have tried several methods that I have found on here end on YouTube . Sometimes they work sometimes they don't. When I want to make deviled eggs I want the peels to come off good so that I will have a pretty presentation and usually no matter what I do the peels will come off with hunks of the egg This sounds like a pretty simple thing to try . Someone else had mentioned it to me and I meant to look it up on Pinterest but never did . One way I have found that is easy to boil eggs for potato salad and egg salad is when I use my pressure cooker I will put the potatoes in the bottom and then lay the eggs on top . They cook perfectly in about 4 minutes, but they turn a brownish color so they're not good to use in deviled eggs . I absolutely love my pressure cooker . If anyone has any good recipes for an electric pressure cooker please post them in the recipe section . Sorry for the errors I am using speech to text .

You can fix eggs many ways. But i prefer to crack them first in bowl or skillet so you can get that Rooster bomb out of them. Then fix them the way you prefer. Scrambled, fried, sunnyside up etc. or however. Some time them Roosters fill'em up.

There's a you tube video showing how to do the de silking method.

I just picked up each ear and looked at the tip. I didn't find any worms at the time, or after.

If you do find some, just swish around in tub of water, and cut away the offending part, pull the husk back a little to get to it.

This really is a great way to put up corn fast.

And the method used to de silk is magical. You must be sure to cut COMPLETLY thru the stalk end with no husk still attached,, pick it up by the silk, give it a gentle shake, and out falls the completely clean ear of corn.

What about the little black bugs and the corn worms, just freeze them and add a little meat to an ear of corn? Just asking because a #3 washtub full of unshucked corn would be easier to freeze!

I have a friend who put 150 ears of corn in his freezer straight off the stalk. Husk, silks and all.
This is the best way to fix corn for keeping, works great, and saves lots of prep time.

He gave me some and I do it the way Goddess tells you. Ear of corn falls right out silk less. Just put on a pr. of oven mitts, cause it's really hot and ready for butter.

I have some in my freezer from two yrs ago.

It taste like I just pulled it from the field.

How bout the perfect impending in a bag? I placed 2 eggs, cheese, tomatoes in a sandwich bag. Sealed the bag and boiled the mixture for 15 minutes. Omelette was perfect and hot
