Here is another sweet sauce

Kfc Clone Honey BBQ Sauce
1 1/4 cups ketchup
1/4 cup molasses
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
.... ....
1. Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir ingredients until well combined.
2. Bring to a boil; reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes.
3. Bottle and store in the refrigerator. This will keep for a good while, but probably won't last.

Never been to Hannah's but here is a great sweet BBQ sauce
St. Louis-Style Sweet Barbecue Sauce
3 cups ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey or molasses
1/2 cup finely minced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced fine
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown mustard
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp hot sauce
Whisk together all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer,
stirring, on low heat for 20 minutes.
Let cool to room temperature.
May be used as a basting sauce towards the end of cooking,
or brushed on after barbecuing,
with additional sauce served on the side

Does anyone know the recipe for the bbq sauce used at Hannahs in Lenoir? I love their BBQ because it is so sweet. I don't like BBQ that tastes like vinager.
