I THINK? What kind of answer is that? Is it the syrup in the can or not? It was just a simple question and all you can give me is a "I think"? What kind of cook are you? Get out of the kitchen now...It is too hot. I THINK.

Thanks Bush. I was writing the ingredients down and thought one was missing when it said the pineapple and syrup. Just confused if it was the "end of the year in everything " corn syrup or the pineapple in the can syrup. Thanks guy.

I think it means the syrup in the pineapple.

Is the syrup another syrup not listed or just the light syrup with the pineapples?

You said you tasted a dish and told what was in it and I found this one in a old cookbook.
You were talking about cheese and pineapple.

Bush your memory is better thana mine...lol I had all but forgotten that request. Is this the one that jason says seems weird but tastes surprisingly good? i think in my far back rounded corners of my brain that that was what sparked my interest in finding it. thanks bush.

Pineapple Casserole
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 2/3 cups crushed saltine crackers
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine the pineapple chunks and crushed pineapple with syrup.
Mix together and pour into a 2 quart baking dish.
Mix together the flour and sugar, sprinkle evenly on top of pineapple.
Cover with cheese,
top cheese with cracker crumbs and drizzle melted butter on top.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes and serve.
