Is there a difference between goodwill burgers and smithy burgers.
I too remember going there with my mom and the ladies would say "What you want" Anyone else remember that?

I found goodwill burgers and smithey's burgers on the recipe exchange site and bumped them to the front

I found this in the recipe exchange.

THIS IS THE REAL GOODWILL BURGER RECIPE.

2 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 doz. buns
1 C soy flour
1 T sage
1 T chili powder
1 C flour
1 tsp salt

Run water over buns. Squeeze out excess water. Mix all ingredients. Form into patties. Fry in hot cooking oil.

I will never forget those burgers We all Loved them. That was the good old days

The Recipe Exchange actually has just as much traffic as the Community Voice... sometimes more.

The Goodwill Burger recipe has been posted in the Recipe Exchange at LEAST 4 times, that I know of. And there has been quite a bit of discussion in the past on how it could be perfected.

I would love to have the recipe too!

Sure do miss those days when Mom used to take us to the Goodwill to get a burger. I can remember the wonderful smell from just walking in the place. It's a shame it's not open anymore.

Ok ya'll, I know this ain't for recipes, so don't laugh, hardly any looks at the recipe board, so I'm ask on here.
Is there anyone out there that has the recipe for the old timey GoodWill Burgers. I used to have it, but lost it, my hubby is wanting it.
