I wanted to thank everyone for their input. I made some Ranch dressing using the Hidden Valley Ranch mix. It was FABULOUS!!! Much better than the pre-made in a bottle. I used Kraft Mayo and Milk. I want to also try making it w/ buttermilk soon. I've never really tasted buttermilk, but I like to try new things. I may try the sour cream too.
You guys & gals have no idea how much I appreciate the ideas. I had almost given up finding a good ranch at home. Now I can make my own salads instead of buying them just to get a good dressing! I can't wait to try this new ranch in my baked Ranch Chicken recipe too.
Anyone else looking for a good ranch needs to try this! Thanks again all!

Walden Farms dressings. They are CALORIE free, fat free, sugar free and gluten free! I am so excited to find them! They also have a lot of other products that are calorie free like peanut butter spread, chocolate dip, veggie dip and jellies just to name a few. Check out their website www.waldenfarms.com.

I use 1/2 buttermilk and 1/2 Dukes mayonnaise with Hidden Valley Ranch Mix powder. It is excellent. Needs to set in refrigerator until chilled. This lets the flavors blend. I do not use the low cal as it is not very good in my opinion.
This is the same mixture we used in the restaurants and our customers loved it. Lots ordered it as a side for french fries as well.

Which mayo do you use? Does the pack suggest a specific brand?

Thanks. I just don't like the flavor of the bottled dressings. I'll have to try the mix!

I LOVE the Hidden Valley Ranch dip that you make...Use the sourcream and the powder packet...but thats for dipping...my all time favorite snack- chips and this dip! YUMMY!
As far as salad dressing, I like the Kraft and Hidden Valley Ranch.

Ranch dressing lovers ~ What brands do you use? I am having a very hard time finding a really good ranch dressing in the grocery aisle. Any restaurant workers that can let us know what brands or possibly a recipe for a restaurant style ranch dressing?
I'm not a fan of Kraft. I have tried Ken's Steakhouse Ranch ~ still not exactly what I am looking for.
