ive never had crabapple jelly..so i wouldnt know lol ive only ever used grape and i forgot also that i add worstersire (however you spell it) to taste i like mine more tangy so i use plenty of mustard my suggestion would be just to try it out one night without the weinies just make the sauce both ways (in small amounts) and see which one you like better

dixie, these can also be made using bbq pork or beef or chicken. prepare your meat, fill the cups, bake until done , right before they are finished, top with shredded cheese of your choice and let melt. i think these are called barbie cups.

Bacon Cheeseburger Roll
1 lb. lean ground beef
4 slices Bacon, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onions (about 1 small)
1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA , cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 pkg. (13.8 oz.) refrigerated pizza crust

HEAT oven to 400°F. Cook ground beef, bacon and onions in large skillet on medium-high heat until ground beef is browned, stirring occasionally. Drain; return meat mixture to skillet. Add VELVEETA; cook until completely melted, stirring frequently. Cool 10 min.

UNROLL pizza dough onto baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Press into 15x8-inch rectangle. Top evenly with meat mixture. Roll up dough, starting at one of the long sides. Rearrange, if necessary, so roll is seam-side down on baking sheet.

BAKE 20 to 25 min. or until golden brown. Cut diagonally into 6 slices to serve.

Carolina Caviar
Add the following to a large bowl:
1 can black eyed peas and/or 1 can black beans
1 can field peas
1 can shoe peg corn
Rinse and drain, then mix with
2 tsp basil
1 cup parsley
1 cup chopped onions
¼ cup red wine vinegar
½ cup olive oil
1 cup feta cheese
Add the following spices, adjusting to your taste
2 cloves crushed garlic
½ tsp dried mustard
½ tsp pepper
¾ tsp Tabasco
Serve chilled with corn chips, or alone

Jalapeño Roll-Ups
8 Oz. Cream Cheese
1 Can Green Chiles (or) 2 To 3 Jalapeños -- finely chopped
10 Large Soft Tortillas
1/2 C. Sour Cream
2 T. Taco Or Picante Sauce

In a bowl combine cream cheese, sour cream, peppers and taco sauce until
blended. Lay a tortilla out flat and spread a thin layer of cream cheese mixture
on it. Then, tightly roll up tortilla (like a jelly roll). Wrap in Saran
wrap and refrigerate from 24 hours to 4 days. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
After refrigeration, unwrap
rolls and slice in about 1/4 " thick slices. Serve on a platter with parsley
or Boston lettuce and can be served with salsa for dipping. This recipe
makes about 80-100 slices

Place about 1 rounded teaspoon filling in the center of each circle.
Bring edges of dough together.
Pinch to seal. Place, seam side down, on greased baking sheets.
Brush with milk. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Glazed Sausage Bites
1 pound bulk pork sausage( Deer is Great)
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup fine cracker crumbs
1/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon ground sage
1/8 teaspoon ground thyme
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
In a bowl, combine sausage, egg, crumbs,
1/3 cup milk, and ground sage and thyme.
Beat with electric mixer at high speed for 5 minutes.
Shape into about 3 dozen small balls (about 1 1/4-inch diameter).
The mixture is soft, so keep hands wet to make shaping easier.
In a large skillet, in batches if necessary,
brown the sausage balls slowly on all sides, about 12 minutes.
Pour off excess fat.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the sausage bites.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Makes about 3 dozen sausage bites.
