My Mom used to make the best fruit salad ever. You can put whatever fruits in it you want but here is what I put in it when I make it.

Oranges cut in small chunks

apples cut in small chunks

grapes cut in half or quarters

bananas cut in small chunks

sprinkle all with small amount of lemon juice to keep fruit from turning brown

1/4 cup of sugar

2 cups minature marshmallows

about a cup of Miracle Whip

Stir all togeather. Better if refrigerated for at least an hour

years ago when western steer was in business in wilkes county on their salad bar they had a great fruit salad it had pineapple apples minature marshmellows rasins sunflower seed and some kind of dressing mixed together with it that was the best fruit salad I have ever ate. Does anyone have a receipe like this? I can remember if that was all the ingredients or not. Thanks
