Freezing Blueberriers

I spread mine out on cookie sheet or whatever I can use so as to have single layers. Don't wash like cookbooknut said. After frozen, I vacumn seal them. I have some in freezer from two years ago, and no frost. I would recommend getting a good vacumn searler. Love mine.

Don,t wash your berries before you freeze them, just look them for bad ones and trash, like leavesand green berries.

yes and it works well. You can pull just a few out for whatever. Since they where froze seperately they don't all stick together in the bag.

I froze some blueberries a month or so ago and when I thawed them, they were mushy. My daughter told me to spread them out on a cookie sheet and freeze them in one layer and then put in the bags. I'm trying that now. Anybody ever frozen them that way before?
