Is Glenn's gravy made with cream? It's different from any gravy I've had around town. It reminds me of my grandma's cream gravy. I like Glenn's gravy, but hate the frozen biscuits. My daughter likes gravy over toast with sliced tomatoes. I might try that. I hate the white gravy from the Coffee House or the packaged kind:too much black pepper.

Here is a recipe for chocolate gravy.

But when I make it, I melt the butter in a skillet, then add the flour and cocoa and make a rue like making regular gravy. Then add the milk and sugar.

BTW, I was told that Roger's had the "best" gravy, I tried it, and it tasted like paste.

I make fabulous gravy, the se3cret is in the flour and drippings. You have to get it just right and let the flour get browned. then stir in the milk, ahhh perfect!

The best restaurant gravy is from Sandra's Snack Bar in downtown Mtn. View.
When making it from scratch at home aside from all the bacon or sausage grease and browing tips already given, use a whisk and stir constantly. The whisk adds air and makes gravy very creamy. I also like gravy made from butter instead of grease.
Could go for some chocolate gravy right now. Haven't had any in a long time. Surprised someone here knew about it.

No one is high enough up on the hog yet. Fatback is the only way to make breakfast gravy. If you don't scorch my gravy and I won't P in your cornflakes.
