Lucille Hunt over in East Bend is another great baker that probably baked cakes for 1/3 of the weddings around there.

Ohhh golly, I miss Faye's good cakes. She and my grandmother were good friends and were always exchanging cakes and goodies with each other. I wish I had some of her recipes, but I'm sure they wouldn't taste as good as hers

I've heard of Mrs. Runnion. From what it sounds like with or without a reciepe book nobody could do it just like she could.

I Agree nobody can beat those cakes. She made all of my sister and my cakes through out our childhood. I don't think there was a book ever completed.

I miss her cakes. She was the best. My family and I had always had her to bake our cakes. I don't think anyone can compare to her cakes.

I'd love to have her red velvet cake recipe. She was such a sweet lady and the most awesome baker.

Faye Runnion was a lady from Cricket who was also a teacher at Union. She made the best cakes ever and she was writing a recipe book she told me once but I don't know what may have become of it. I was wondering if anyone had the recipe especially for her frosting. She also catered weddings and other events. She is not with us anymore and she was a wonderful lady.

Hi, Does anyone have the recipe of Faye Runnion's cake? They were the best ever and I miss them so. Does anyone know of a cake maker who makes them the same as Faye Runnion
