I agree that charcoal has a great flavor but you can't beat the convenience of gas. To get the charcoal flavor you can use hickory chips soaked in water wrapped in a foil pouch. Punch holes and place it on the grill with your meat and it smokes a similar taste into it while cooking. I grill out around 3-4 nights a week all year long. Addicted here!

CHARCOAL is the best way to grill. Food has a much better flavor. If you use a gas grill, you might as well just cook the food in doors. They are so expensive and you don't get the grilled flavor like you do with a charcoal grill!

by far, charcoal will give your grilled food a much better taste. if you want to grill a steak, just get a package of grill mates from mccormicks, and that is all you need for a delicious steak. for a light healthy meal, fix maranaded chicken. just get a package of skinless chicken and put in a bag covered in italian dressing. when it's time to fix supper, just grill it! it's really good, and even kids will like it. you could even top it off with a cool pasta salad, it's great and nice in the summer!

In my opinion charcoal has a much better taste, my favorite grill meal would have to be steak,jumbo shrimp, mushrooms soaked in Dales' sauce, house salad w ranch and cheese toast.... Yummy!
