I'm like missyvader....we waited until we got to beach and then stocked up. No room for food in car with all the luggage and floats...etc. We would do spaghetti and salad one night. Buy fresh road side vegetables and have those one night. Hot dogs and sandwichs. Breakfast would be our biggest meal so everyone would stay full all day

You can get some tasty frozen already prepared meals at Sam's. Their chicken pie is good & not very expensive. But you may need 2 if you have a big crowd going. Hot dogs also do well & are cheap.

On our beach trips...one person would bake a ham, one would bake a turkey, one would make a big pot of speghetti sauce. The ham and turkey could be used for a nice dinner for 2 evenings and sandwich's during the day. Or bake a large pan of lasagna and a bag of salad. We did our cooking before we went to the beach. All we had to purchase was breakfast items and sidedish ingrediants. Just depends on how long your gonna stay at the beach...we usually stayed a full week...oh and one night we would grill also. Have fun!!!!

My mom always waits until she gets down there, then goes to the grocery store and stocks up on bread, bologna, ham, etc for sandwiches. She buys cereal and pancake mix (of course for a room with a kitchen). It is cheap eating, but who cares when you are at the beach for THE BEACH.
