Froggy1211's recipe is very similar to mine.If I can find turkey wings or breast, I use that instead of a hen. I use more celery than that. I also use poultry seasoning and I make a cake of cornbread to go in with mine as well as the pepperidge farm stuffing mix. I do not have the recipe written down anywhere and I don't measure anything. This is the recipe that my Mom used so it is a very old recipe. She would have been 91 this year.

Large bag of Pepperidge Farm Herbal Stuffing Mix (or cornbread, if desired) 1 stick butter, melted 2 small cans of Cream of Celery 1 small can of chicken broth (or turkey broth reserved from baked turkey)
Mix all together, and it should be kind of moist, but not wet. Bake at 400 degrees approximately 45 minutes.

Naturalman's is way I make it except I add a cup of chopped pecans and use cream of mushroom soup in addition to the broth. I also put it in a 9x13 pan and bake it rather than make it in the crock pot. It is also good with chopped oysters (include the liquor off the oysters.)

I've used this receipe for years for dressing. Hope you enjoy it.
You'll need a large bowl to mix all of this in.
1 large bag Pepperidge Farm Herbed Stuffing Mix (blue bag) 6 boiled eggs chopped up 1 large onion finely chopped 3 stalks celery finely chopped The meat of 1 whole hen cooked, taken off the bone and cut into small pieces 1 stick butter melted 4-5 cups chicken broth
Put everything but the chicken into the bowl and mix well Add the chicken and 1/2 of the broth Salt and Pepper to taste Mix well Keep adding broth until the mixture is loose....not stiff and thick
Butter a large glass pyrex dish Pour dressing mixture into dish Bake in oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees
Let cool about 15-20 minutes before cutting and serving
