Mushroom Chili 2 pounds ground chuck 4 cups chopped onions 4 cloves chopped garlic (fresh) 1 chopped green pepper 1 chopped red pepper 2 chopped Jalapenos 2 T chili powder (to taste) 60 oz. tomato juice 3 16oz.cans of dark red kidney beans 1 15oz.can Diced tomatoes or Rotel tomatoes 1 16oz.can sliced mushrooms or fresh 2 tablespoons Tabasco sauce Crumble and brown ground chuck with the onions, then drain. Add garlic, green and red peppers and tomato juice. Bring to a boil, add 1 cup of the chili powder. Stir in chili powder then drop temperature to moderately low heat. Then add kidney beans, stewed tomatoes and mushrooms. Stir all together, then add Tabasco sauce. Bring back up to a boil, stirring often. Add the rest of the chili powder, and allow to simmer for about an hour. Stirring about every 5 minutes. Turn off heat and allow chili to cool. This will also help the ingredients to fuse together. After cooling, it can be reheated and served or put in the refrigerator over night, and served the next day. 1. Hot Dog Chili 1 lb lean burger apprx 1/2 onion, chopped ketchup chili powder Brown the burger and onions together til done. Drain. Add enough ketsup to get the desire consistancy. Chilli powder to taste. Enjoy! 2. Tasty chili 5 lbs hamburger 1 Tbsp chili powder 1/2 Tbsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1/2 bottle of Ketchup 1 can Chili sauce 1 qt Tomato juice Brown hambuger, drain, add all other items. Cook on low for 2 hours. Easy and taste great!
3. Chili 1-2lbs ground beef 1 medium onion 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar add salt & pepper 1 teaspoon chili powder 2 8oz. cans of hunts tomato sauce. you may need more tomato sauce depends on how much hamburger you use. Brown hamburger and onion drain off excess fat then add the other ingredients Simmer 45 to 50 minutes
4. Hot Dog Chili 3 lbs lean ground beef 2-3 cups water 1 large onion, chopped 11/2 cups ketchup 1 tsp chili powder 2 tsp worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 2 T. chili sauce 1T. hot sauce Cook the ground beef (LEAN!!) onion and water until the beef is done (no longer pink). Drain off the water and fat. Stir in the other ingredients and add enough water to obtain the desired consistency (1-2 cups). Stir and simmer for at least one hour. Yummy!!! I like to use chili sauce (hunts or heinz) rather than catsup. Below is my Favorite Texas Cowboy Chili Beans 8 pounds beef chuck roast 3 (10 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green chile peppers (I like Hot) 2 large yellow onion, diced 2 tablespoons garlic powder 1 tablespoons ground ***in 2 tablespoons chili powder 2 Jalapeno's diced 3 cups dried pinto beans Tomato juice; as needed In a large stock pot over high heat, brown roast on all sides. Reduce heat to medium low and add the diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, yellow onion, garlic powder, ground ***in and chili powder. Cover and simmer until meat comes apart easily, about 3 to 4 hours. Meanwhile, rinse the pinto beans and soak them in a bowl of warm water. Remove cooked roast from the pot and set aside. Rinse the pinto beans and pour them into the pot. Pour in enough water to cover the beans and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer until the beans are very tender, about 1 1/2 hours, adding Tomato juice as needed. Shred roast with fork and discard the fat. Add the shredded meat to the cooked beans and pour in enough water to cover. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes Yield: 25 servings

I use Bushman's first recipe and it's so good. I do use canned chilli instead of fresh but that is the only difference ii make. it makes a lot so what is left over I can for later use. That is until the last time I made it. My brother in law came up and he loved it. Took the last drops home with him. What I am trying to say is that it's really , really good. Well worth trying.
