Gosh StellaMae. I am so sorry I am just now seeing this request. I do not often check the recipe section, and just ran across this. So, if you still want it, my meatloaf recipe follows. But, I will have to tell you, Rye's Rocks too in my opinion. But here goes- hope you enjoy!!

Homemade meatloaf

Regular ground beef (not the extra lean stuff) you need some fat in good meatloaf-I never measure anything much, but an average size pack of ground beef will do

2 packs saltines crushed fine and added to hamburger

1 onion dice fine

1 beaten egg

1 small can tomato paste

dash worchershire sauce (I usually mix the worcherschire sauce with the tomato paste before adding to the hamburger. Otherwise, the tomato paste tends to make the meatloaf RED as if it is not done. But just a dash of W. Sauce will do.

Salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste.

Mix well- form into a loaf, bake at 325 for probably or until done.

When mixing it, if it is dry, I usually will add a splash of milk to the mixture before baking. Most always, the tomato paste and egg are enough to make the meatloaf moist, but if I feel it has mixed dryer than it should, then I add probably 1/3 cup milk to the mixture.
