wrap it bacon, add potatoes carrots onions cabbage,with lots of butter ,wrap all with tin foil,place on grill,next youll be fighting for the last piece.

Bake in oven at 375 in tin foil ad patios onions an carrots with a can of onion soup an a can of cream of mushroom soup

you have to be very careful with liquid smoke. It is not a sauce it is acyual hickory smake that has been through a distilling process. A little goes a long way and i wouldn't suggest to rub it on the meat but to put a little into the pan with it if baking.

There is a great sauce you can buy at Wal-Mart that tastes just like you smoked your meat without all the trouble. It's called Liquid Smoke. I used it all the time and everyone always thinks I cooked it outside on the grill. Just rub it on the deer and cook it in the oven or slow cooker.

i have done one on a smoker i cut small slits in the meat and put garlic in it. u can inject it with some sauce to....i have cut meat up and put it in a crock pot with tatters , carrots , onion, garlic salt , season salt , pepper, cook slow all day its so good....we like to take some of out meat that we soak 4 jerk and let it soak and fry some of it up in a little oil.

If you use the smoker I don't think there is anyway you can mess it up. We have smoked hams before with no sauce or anything and it was still good and very tender. I would just have some A-1 for dipping if you like that. Yum, yum.

I'm wanting to cook a deer ham this weekend and I was wondering if anyone can give me some good recipes or ideas on how to do that. I'm thinking about turning my grill into a smoker and cookin it that way, but I'm not quite sure how to season it other than Dale's sauce.
