Mykisses, That is the way I have been fixing it for years and it is Great . I don't like soup in Steak and Gravy .The old way makes better gravy. You can add some milk or water if it starts getting thick.

pour a family size can of mushroom soup in a crock pot. mix in a packet of lipton onion soup mix. someone said to flour the cube steak but i forgot to and it tasted great just like k and w's. i did not even brown the meat first and put it on one morning after work on high and it was done when i got up at noon. it is so delicious over egg noodles.

Here's how I do mine: 6-8 pcs cube steak, dip in milk, roll in flour and brown each side. 3-4 tbsp butter 1 1/2 c water 2 beef buillon cubes 3 tbsp flour. Put steak in crock pot, Dissolve Beef Cubes in the water, pour over steak and the melt butter, add flour stir and pour in pot. And cook on low 4-6hrs.

Another way is to flour and brown as usual. then layer steak, onion, and mushroom soup. I also add the drippings from the pan after adding a little water.

HELP!! Need recipe....please!!!! I've made it 100 times in a pan in the oven. I need to know if you add anything more than water, salt & pepper to the crock pot. Here's how I normally fix: Flour Cubed Steak & brown in pan on stove put into dish with drippings and add 2 cups hot water, then bake
Should I do this any differently for the crock pot so that it will have that yummy gravy? My little girl is 2 yrs. old so I wanted to try and make it more tender. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME!!!!
