We prefer cranberry beans over pintos and have been fixing them for over 30 years. We fix them the same as pintos.

My mother in law did the same and cooked them just like pinto's and she said they were better than pintos.

I by mistake picked up cranberry beans instead of pinto's yesterday at the grocey store.
Are they basically the same bean as a pinto?
Do I still season them with meat? Does onion and cornbread still go with them?
