2 cups sugar
3 level tbl. spoons cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 stick butter
dash salt
3 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

combine cocoa, sugar, milk, salt and butter. Heat slowly, bring to boil time for 1-2 mins. Remove from heat , stir in peanut butter and vanilla and then stir in oatmeal. Drop by spoonful on waxed paper or cookie sheet and let stand until firm.

Some cookbooks call them No Bake Cookies, some call them Boiled Cookies. You can also make Blonde Cow Patties using peanut butter and leaving out the chocolate. Good stuff!

I said coconut when I posted what cow pies were, but I actually meant oatmeal.

Post the recipe because I don't know where my recipe is. They are so good and easy to make.

Wow I have those before but didn't know that they were know as Cow Pies. I called Chocolate Drops. Add raw uncooked oatmeal. I will make some soon.

COW PATTIES;

They have sugar, chocolate, milk, butter....which is cooked until it forms the soft ball in
cold water... (don't overcook....ya wont be able to spoon em out)

Then you add the quick cook oats and the peanut butter....stir fast and drop on waxed paper by the tablespoon.

Best Cookie in the World....But please NO coconut...that ruins 'em...

No bake cookies. They are very good. My wife makes them all the time.

Basicaly a pile of cow patty's (crap). But it has come to my attetion that there is a tasty little cake made out of oatmeal and some other ingredients that would make these go good with coffee. Who has ever tryed these or are the just joshing me?
