Wreath Cookies
1/2 c. butter
30 lg. marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla
15 to 20 drops green food coloring
4 c. cornflakes
Cinnamon candies
Melt butter and marshmallows.
Blend in vanilla and food coloring.
Fold in cornflakes.
Shape spoonfuls into wreaths and decorate with cinnamon candies.

We make a corn flake candy on the same line of rice krispies treats. Only differance is we add green food color form it into a circle stick red-hots to it and you have a holly wearth.

Thanks Bushman, I don't remember the peanut butter being in it but then again I was just around 10 years old. I'll try this and see if it tastes like what we made then.

Cornflake Candy
2 cups of white sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup white Kayro syrup (corn syrup)
1 tablespoon margarine
4 cups cornflakes
Grease a cookie sheet.
Boil the sugar and syrup together.
After it begins to boil then add the peanut butter and margarine.
Place mixture over cornflakes and coat all cornflakes with the mixture.
Place and press the mixture on to the cookie sheet.
Cool and cut into bars.

I am looking for a recipe my Mom had back in the 60's. We lost it during a move. It was for candy made from corn flakes. It was similar to Rice Crispy treats except you used corn syrup and something else instead of marshmallows. To me they were better than rice crispy treats. I think it originally came on a corn flake box but I'm not sure. I have searched the internet, and Kellogg's sites and still haven't found the exact same recipe. If anyone has it I would love to have a new copy
