Corn Chowder

1 Tablespoon Butter
large onion - chopped
3/4 cup crumbs from unsalted oyster crackers
2 cups water
2 cups broth (chicken, beef or ham)
3 cups diced potatoes
2 cups of half and half
2 cups corn kernels (unfrozen)
1 red and 1 green pepper - chopped and sauteed in butter
Add salt and pepper to taste

Mix liquids, add potatoes and onions, cook until done. Mix cracker crumbs, flour and seasonings. Add to liquid mixture; add green and red pepper, bring to a boil. Add half and half and corn - simmer 10 - 20 minutes.
