well you all forgot a few points.
1. When boiling the ribs, add seasoning to water, just chunk it in there and let it boil for about 20 minutes for 5 pounds, 1-2 hours will be too long
2. Boil meat night before, let cool, add Emeri's rib rub, put in ziploc, put in fridge over night.
3. remember "low heat, smoke and water" and "slow (cooking) and wet (water on grill)" while grilling will always keep meat moist. I use the little smoker box that sits on grill and add soaked apple wood chips for flavor.

I have never had a dissatisfied customer at a party where i cooked at.

I have worked in a few resturants and have used a method at home that is suprisingly great. Boil your ribs for an 1 to 1 1/2 hours. but add 1/8 cup of vinegar to the water. ( I use the white vinegar)Then grill them on low, brushing them with your sauce of choice. You will not taste the vinegar

The easy way is to boil them until they are very tender. After boiling you can keep them in the fridge until meal time. A little before meal time fire up the grill and put spices or BBQ sauce on the ribs. Throw them on the grill just long enough to get them hot and caramelize the sauce a little.

the best way to fix ribs is to smoke them over hickory word for about 2 to 3 hours or longer then finish cooking them on the grill is best but you can place them in the oven.
