I am collecting recipies for a cookbook for people who wish to feed their pets fresh, homemade foods (not table scraps) send the recipe to petcookbook@yahoo.com along with your name and address. If your recipe is chosen for the cookbook you will recieve credit in the cookbook as well as a $10.00 payment for your time. There will be seperate sections in the book for dogs and cats.

Remember that cats need a very high amount of protien in their diets and a strong smell to attract them to the food.

Dogs diets may vary by the preference of the owner but should never include any garlic or onion. Non-vegetarian meals should have meat as the main ingredient and, those with the best nutrition for a dog's needs should include fruits and veggies as well as grains. I am also including a gluten free section for those pets with sensitivities. There is also a section for treats.

Thank you to all of those who submit recipes
