Oreo balls

1 8 oz pkg cream cheese

1 pkg oreos

white chocolate to dip them in

Put the room temperature cream cheese and the oreos in a food processer and mix until well blended. I mix these in 2 batches (1/2 cream cheese and 1/2 oreos) so it mixes easier. Refrigerate until very cold, ( I sometimes leave in fridge over night). Roll into balls and dip in chocolate. You can use any kind of chocolate you like.

Peppermint Bark and Haystacks are good to make. I have made 2 batches of each so far and going to have to make more. Both are super easy to make.

Peppermint Bark

2 pounds white chocolate

1 cup crushed peppermint candy canes or candy sticks

Prepare cookie sheet pan with either parchment paper or waxed paper. Melt white chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave, remove from heat. Stir in crushed candy. Pour mixture onto cookie sheet, place in refridgerator for 45 minutes. Remove and break into pieces the size you wish, place into airtight containers.

Haystacks

11 or 12 oz. butterscotch pieces

3 oz. chow mein noodles

6 oz. peanuts

Prepare cookie sheet with parchment or waxed paper. Melt butterscotch pieces over a double boiler or in the microwave. When melted remove from heat, stir in noodles and peanuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto paper and refridgerate for 30 minutes. Remove and place into airtight containers.
