I use...
1lb ground beef browned with a medium onion then drained. Then add one can each of diced tomatoes, dark red kidney beans and tomato sauce. Stir all together with 1teaspoon of ***in and 2 tablespoons of chili powder. Simmer uncovered for 30minutes. If you like a spicier chili just add more chili powder or even texas pete. We like to add shredded cheddar cheese on top before eating.

I love chilli!!! here'e the way I make it..

1 lb. of lean ground beef
1 small onion(chopped)
**Cook together until done-drain if nessessary
add around 2 cups of ketchup(I don't measure but this would be close)
4 tlbs of chilli powder
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 can of light red kidney beans(drained and rinsed) optional**
**mix well and heat up to a boil

We always put down a bed of tortilla chips put chilli on top and add shredded chedder cheese and sour cream...Or sometimes we top a salad with this. Also good with a little texas pete!
ENJOY!!!
