Muse ...I know you will keep checking this but,
follow Chendos suggestions. TBONTB backed his up.
There's no more you can do but start testing recipes.
I would suggest switching to black bean I stead of kidney.
This time I hope you win!!!

go to FOODNETWORK and find a link to chili there are hundreds of recipes.....maybe you can just use an ingredient or two from one on line to kick yours already great chili.....
