This my version and use pressure cooker ,you can just boil in a big pot it just takes longer.
Chicken Stew 4 pounds thighs (cook and remove bone) 2. 50 oz cans chicken broth water 1. gallon whole milk 11/2 . sticks BUTTER Salt. and Black Pepper 2. cups flour Put chicken, butter ,broth,1 broth can water, salt and pepper in pressure cooker, When it starts to steam turn down and cook 20 minutes. Open cooker and put chicken in a 4large stockpot with broth included. Mix flour and 1/2 of milk in a bowl and mix till smooth, with hand mixer add to stockpot with 1 broth can of water the rest of the milk and boil. (till thickened, you can add water, if to thick or add flour to thicken) Season with salt and pepper to taste. Note, You can cook chicken in stockpot just low heat and cook for 1 hour.then add milk, flour and water. (low and slow)

You will LOVE this recipe!!!! Every time that I make it, I have to deliver it to 3 or 4 of my neighbors....I have never met anyone who didn't like it! Both of my children (1 is a very picky eater) beg for me to make it....
Chicken Noodle Stew
1 pkg. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts 2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup 2 cans Campbells Cheddar Cheese Soup 1 can Chicken Broth 1 can Sliced Carrots(optional) 1 bag Wide Egg Noodles 1 stick of Margarine Salt & Pepper
- Boil chicken in large pot (between 1/2 & 3/4 full of water) with butter, salt & pepper until done. (I usually boil my chicken for 1hr. & 15 mins so that it is very tender).
- Remove chicken from broth, cut into small pieces & set aside.
- Add egg noodles to broth & cook according to directions on the pkg.
- When noodles are done, add the soups & broth & stir until soup is dissolved with no clumps.
- Add chicken & carrots( if you like carrots....they are optional)
- Simmer on low for 10 minutes or until mixture is well blended.
**** Serve & Enjoy****
Leftovers may be kept in the fridge for several days.
I hope that you like it!!!! Let me know what you think when you make it.... I usually serve with a gooey grilled cheese sandwich.
