Use Mrs Kinser's chicken salad, add 1/2 cup chopped celery and 1/2 cup seeded, halved red or blue grapes. A 1/4 cup chopped english walnuts added will give you the exact recipe used in all Bob Evans chicken salad and it is really, really good.

I used to have the recipe. This one sounds like it but I never put whipping cream in it. I think I also added a little garlic salt and maybe some seasoning salt.

2 1/2 c. diced cooked chicken 1 c. finely chopped celery 1 c. sm. seedless green grapes 1 c. chopped walnuts 1 tsp. minced onion 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped 1 c. mayonnaise Salad greens Garnishes: Stuffed & ripe olives, sweet pickles, parsley & julienne strips of chicken
In a bowl, combine chicken, celery, grapes, walnuts, onion and salt. Whip cream and mix it with the mayonnaise. Fold this dressing into the chicken salad mixture. Cover bowl and refrigerate for several hours. At serving time, serve salad on greens with garnishes |

Id love to have a recipe that is like the one they have at Lowes in the deli. I love that stuff but its so expensive!
