I boil 1 whole chicken, cut into peices with some salt until tender...usually 1 hour to 1 and 1/2 hours.
When your chicken is tender, put it on a large plate till cool enough to handle, debone it ,tear into peices and put back into your broth.

Keeping your chicken and broth at a slow simmer, I make a regular biscuit dough, and roll it out on a floured surface, kneed it a few times, then roll it out and you can either cut into squares, or just pull off sections, then drop into your chicken and broth.

Cover and simmer gently a few minutes till done.

Make sure to put the lid on when you first add the biscuit dough, the steam is what makes them fluffy :)

I cut up a pack or two of boneless skinless chicken breast and put it in a large pan with some water. I boil it until the chicken is completely done. Sometimes I drain it and start with fresh water, but sometimes I use that water. I then add one or two packets of chicken flavored gravy mix. I season with some minced onion, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt and pepper all to taste. Then I add some mixed vegetables, normally corn, carrots, peas, and green beans. I let it cook for a while to mix the flavors, about 20 minutes or so. Make sure there is plenty of water in the pan. I then mix up some biscuit mix from the bisquick recipe on the box or use the dumpling recipe. I drop them by the spoons into the soup and cover for about 10 minutes and then uncover and cook for 10 more minutes or until the dough is cooked good.

I like it this way, but sometimes it is good to cook without the veggies. :O)
