I make tins full of goodies for Christmas presents the past couple of years. This year I made 4 different recipes of Chex Mixes. They are so simple and easy to make( each takes 15 mins or less} thought I would share them here.
The first one i used was Bushman's Firecracker recipe: Fire Cracker Chex Mix Ingredients 6 - 9 Cups Chex Cereal 1 Pkg Dry Ranch Dressing Mix 1/2 C Canola or Veg Oil 1 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1 Gallon Ziploc bag Directions Put Ranch Dressing, Pepper Flakes, and Cayenne Pepper in ziploc bag. Shake to mix well. Add Oil. Mix well. Add Cereal, Close bag tightly and turn continuously to coat in oil mixture. Best if left to sit over night.
The second is a take off of that .... Just use the oil and ranch dressing mix and you have Ranch Chex Mix. I made this for my mom who cant eat spicy foods.
