BEST Cheese Ball


2-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese


Large jar dried beef, shredded into small pieces


1 lb. Sharp cheddar cheese finely shredded


1 bottle Kraft Creamy Italian dressing


Atleast 2-3 c. finely chopped nuts
Mix all ingredients EXCEPT NUTS, roll into ball shape and cover with chopped nuts

Yield of 4-5 Balls dependent upon size. Refrigerate

Pineapple Cheese Ball

2-8oz cream cheese
1-10oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
1-20oz can of crushed pineapple, drained well ( I also put it on paper towel
a squeeze out some of the juice)
1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion
2 teaspoons of worcestershire sauce

Mix together with mixer. Chill in refrigerator, then divide in two balls or rolls and roll in 2/3 cups of chopped pecans.

8oz cream cheese
2 tbs cheese whiz
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 c chopped pecans

Let cream cheese set to room temp for 15 mins until soften. Then add cheese whiz, garlic and onion powders. Mix well. Form into ball in bowl. Then set in fridge for about 30 mins. Then take rub butter on hands and take cheese ball and rub the cheese ball around in pecans. Place on serving plate and place Ritz crackers around it .

Pineapple Cheeseball
2 pkgs 8 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened (not fat free)
2 tbsp Chopped green onions or chives
1 tsp onion or garlic powder
1 tsp Lawreys seasoning salt (or can use Mrs Dash)
1 20 oz can crushed pineapple, in own juice. Drain extra well and squeeze out any excess juice.
2 cups chopped pecans
1/2 tsp hot sauce

Combine all ingredients except nuts.

Refrigerate several hours until completely chilled.

Form into 2 logs or one or two balls (your preference).

Roll in chopped nuts.

Refrigerate until served

More Traditional Cheeseball

From old Kraft Foods receipe

2 eight oz pkgs Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
1 jar Old English cheese spread
1 jar Roka Bleu Cheese spread
1/4 tsp onion juice
1 dash (freshly) ground pepper
2 tbsp finely diced parsley or cilantro
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds), your preference.
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp hot sauce

Mix all ingredients except nuts and parsley.
Chill for a couple of hours.
Shape into a ball, 2 small balls, or a couple of logs.
Mix parsley or cilantro and nuts.
Roll cheese ball(s) or log(s) in mixture.

Refrigerate until serving time.

(If you want to, you can add a couple of tbsp mayonnaise to thin mixture down. Add nuts and parsley or cilantro. Pack into a crock and serve as a spread with assorted crackers.

Ranch Dressing Cheeseball

1 lg pkg ranch dressing mix (Hidden Valley suggested)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 eight oz pkgs Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
1 three oz bottle real bacon bits (not artificial ones)

Mix 1st 3 ingredients and chill.

Roll into a ball and then roll in bacon bits.

Chill until ready to serve.

This one is easy;
2(8oz pgs cream cheese softened
1/2 cup creamy italian dressing
1 small can dried beef(chopped)
chopped pecans

Mix together cream cheese,dried beef and dressing by hand.Make into ball. rollin chopped pecans.Refigerate for 24hrs before serving

Need a good cheese ball recipe :) I have one, but don't know where it is. I know it calls for cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and chopped ham. Cant remember the spices :)
