CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE!

1 box mac n cheese with powder cheese mix
1 lbs browned ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1-2 onions diced, slightly cooked
chedder cheese

Cook macaroni and mix with cheese powder, soup, beef, and onion. If your kids don't like onion, either omit it from the recipe or from what you say is in it. I bet they won't even notice. Put in casserole dish, cover with cheese, and bake until cheese in melted. I like to top mine with a little ketchup after I get it on my plate, and I think it goes great with green peas!

If you're looking for a snack for the kids, chili and cream cheese make a great salsa for chips. Looks absolutely nasty, but it tastes great. Just take 1 can of chili and 1 block of cream cheese and heat it up. It's best with tortilla chips.

Pizza muffins are a good choice. Toast the muffins, add pizza sauce and cheese. Bake in 375 degree oven for a few minutes or until cheese melts.

Pigs in a Blanket are also good. Get refrigerator biscuits and press each slice flat. Cut hot dogs in half. Add 1 cut hot dog on each biscuit and wrap around. Be sure to pinch together to hold in place. Bake in oven according to biscuit directions. These are also good party treats.

Macaroni and Cheese is always a hit with kids!

I love the Kraft Magazine. This last one had a lot of recipes in it that I tried. I even go to their site quite a bit for ideas. They're always easy and usually pretty cheap.

Violet...........Also, flour tortillas are excellent to fill with pizza toppings, sandwich fixings, cheese, salsa, etc....fill them with whatever your child/children like and cut them in half. Fry them in butter for a different grilled cheese sandwich.

Frozen burritos, refried beans and Mexican rice. Just add your favorite toppings and it's quick and easy. Sour cream and tomatoes make it taste more like take-out.

Violet,
Go to Kraft.com...... They send me a free magazine full of recipes all of the time and they have tons of kid dishes.

If your kids will eat tuna, try this one:
1Box Mac-N-Cheese prepared (original)
1lb ground beef.... browned and drained
1 can green peas
1 can tuna fish ( I use Albacore but you can use Light)
1 small bag of plain potato chips

Mix all ingredients together (except chips) and put in baking dish. Crush up potato chips on top and bake for 30 minutes on 325 degrees.

I like to fix baked potatoes with my daughter...she likes that. If you go to the Tyson store, they have nuggets and chicken strips that kids like.... Grilled cheese is always a good idea when it's cold and sometimes if you have young kids you can use cookie cutters to make them into fun shapes. Meatloaf is a pretty cheap and tasty meal that is kid friendly... You can also make like chicken pot pies pretty inexpensively ...just buy cream of chicken soup, frozen mixed veggies and some chicken and you can use bisquick or any biscuit mix and put it on top of those things and it's great and my daughter LOVES it! Hope that helps. :P
