Bake them in the disposable pan and wrap in tin foil . Remember to let them cool to room temp before freezing. Frozen cassserole's have about a 2 month freezer life.
Nacho Casserole 1 pound ground beef , chicken or turkey 1 1/2 cups chunky salsa ( hot,med,or mild) 1 (10 ounce) can whole kernel Mex-corn, drained 3/4 cup creamy salad dressing ( Miracle Whip) 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 tbs each chopped green and red peppers 1 tbs chopped jalapeno (optinal) 2 cups crushed tortilla chips 2 cups Mexican Mix or Taco Mix cheese
DIRECTIONS Preheat the oven to 350º F Place ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring to crumble, until evenly browned. Drain grease. Remove from the heat, and stir the salsa, corn, peppers mayonnaise and chili powder into the beef. In a 2 quart casserole dish, layer the ground beef mixture, tortilla chips and cheese twice, ending with cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes uncovered in the preheated oven, until cheese is melted and dish is thoroughly heated.
Beef Penne Pasta Casserole Ingredients: 1 lb. dried penne pasta, cooked and drained 8 oz. lean ground beef 1 small onion, chopped 2 cup(s) water 2 can(s) Italian tomato paste (6 oz) 1/3 cup red wine or water 1 tbsp. Beef Bouillon 2 cups monterey jack cheese, shredded
Directions: 1: PREHEAT oven to 350? F. 2: COOK beef and onion in large saucepan, stirring occasionally, until beef is no longer pink. Add water, tomato paste, wine and bouillon; cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes or until flavors are blended. 3: LAYER ingredients as follows in ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking dish: 1/2 pasta, 1/2 sauce and 1/2 cheese. Repeat layers; cover. 4: BAKE for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Season with salt. 5: FOR FREEZE AHEAD. 6: PREPARE as above; do not bake. Cover; freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in refrigerator. 7: PREHEAT oven to 350? F. 8: BAKE for 45 to 55 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Season with salt.
Jambalaya Casserole 1 Tbs butter 1 medium onion, diced 1 Lg carrot, diced 2 medium green tomatoes, chopped 2 chile peppers, chopped ( hot or mild ) 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1/2 lb medium shrimp, peeled, deveined 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced 2 cups heated chicken stock 1 cup rice 1/2 sharp cheddar, shredded Saute the sausage and shrimp together until the shrimp turns pink and set aside. Then saute the onion, carrot, garlic, chiles, and tomatoes together in the butter until the onion begins to clear. Add the vegetables, shrimp, and sausage to a 3 qt. casserole dish. Stir in the rice and chicken stock. Cover the dish tightly with foil or tight fitting lid and bake in a preheated 350º oven for 45 minutes. Once removed from the oven, stir in the cheese and serve. Pizza casserole 1 lb. hamburger 1 sm. jar pizza sauce 1 sm. jar spaghetti sauce 1 box of elbow macaroni noodles 1 can of sliced mushrooms (optional) 1 bag of mozzerella cheese pepperoni Boil macaroni and drain as directed. Place in square baking dish. Brown hamburger and drain. Add sauces and mushrooms, Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over macaroni. Add cheese then pepperoni. Bake @ 350º until cheese is melted. Great dish for the whole family!
