You can add 1 can pumpkin and 1/2 cup water to chocolate or spice cake also. Makes the chocolate taste alot like brownies...very good. DO NOT use pumpkin pie mix, only use plain canned pumpkin.

I made a mountain dew cake once. It was very good but I think I put a little too much dew in it because the cake was super moist!

My daughter makes cup cakes with a soda and cake mix. Very good and less calories and fat. The ones I tried were spice and a diet sprite.

has anyone tried using a cake mix and just adding a diet soda instead of eggs, oil, and water? I made a devil's food and added a diet cherry dr. pepper and it was really good.
