I'm making a cabbage casserole for Thanksgiving dinner. I hope it is good. I used tincar's recipe.

Opps - I should have said "or" instead of are a combination of both :)

PS: I have also used this recipe and replaced the cabbage with either broccoli or cauliflower - are a combination of both :)

This is the best Cabbage Casserole I have ever tasted - and I have had a few. It is simple and I don't like to cook it till it is well done - I like my cabbage a little crunchy :)

1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Egg
1/2 C. Margarine, melted
1 Onion, chopped
1/2 C. Mayonnaise
1 Package Ritz Crackers, crushed
1 Cabbage or enough to fill 8X8 dish

Cut cabbage up and place in baking dish. Pour 1/4 cup margarine over cabbage. Mix egg, soup, and mayonnaise. Place onion on top of cabbage. Spread soup mixture on top of onion and cabbage. Mix crackers with remaining margarine; pour over top. Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes or until done. It depends on the type bowl you bake in. If it is a deep dish, cook a little longer. If it is a flat dish, cook the 30 minutes. Just test it to get the right texture for you. Enjoy!!!!
