Butterscotch Pie

1 &1/2 cups milk
1 cup brown sugar
3 heaping tablespoons flour
1/2 stick margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
3 eggs

Cook in double boiler until thick ( I just use a regular pot)

When fixing something like this, I mix my dry ingredients together first to help prevent lumps.
Pour into baked pie shell

i need an old fashioned butterscotch pie recipie . anybody got one ?
