oops! It is german chocolate cake mix- not butter pecan cake mix.... Sorry

I make this myself but without any icing. It is so moist and stays moist after a week. I can only find the butter pecan at Food Lion once in awhile and I buy it up when I find it. I think it is only Betty Crocker that makes it.

Where can you find butter pecan cake mix. I have been looking for one since before Thanksgiving.

I have to try this. Sounds very good.

1 Butter pecan cake mix

1 can coconut-pecan frosting

4 eggs

1 cup water

3/4 cup vegetable oil

blend eggs, water and oil, beat well, add cake mix and mix well... stir by hand the frosting into the cake mix.. grease and flour tube pan. Bake 350 for 45minutes to an hour.

Frosting:

1 stick butter

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup milk

1 3/4 - 2 cups powdered sugar

Melt butter and add brown sugar.. cook for 2 minutes and add milk... bring back to a boil.... let set until lukewarm and add powdered sugar as needed to spreading consistency...

Very moist cake....
