Ingredients

1 1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup water
3 tsp honey
1 egg
2 1/3 cups self-rising flour
1 cup ground pecans
2 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp allspice

Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Combine sugar, water, honey, and egg, and beat with mixer on high speed until well combined. Add flour, pecans, cinnamon, and allspice; mix well.

Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake about 12 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned on the edges.

Best if allowed to set a few hours before eating. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
