I tried your recipe tonight goddess, using velveeta with some cheddar thrown in for "zip". Excellent!

I'm going to try that one goddess!
If you're in a time crunch - or just lazy... I sometimes use the Bear Creek mix and add a steamer pkg of brocolli then throw some shredded cheddar on top of each bowl. (the Bear Creek stuff is on sale at Lowes Foods this week)

1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli1
(10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 1/4 cups milk
8 ounces processed cheese food (eg. Velveeta)salt and pepper to taste
Prepare broccoli according to directions. Drain off excess water.
Add cream of mushroom soup and one can of milk to broccoli. Stir and heat thoroughly on low.


Add cheese, stirring until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Your quick and creamy soup is ready to serve!


this soup is so dang good and easy to make....you can use a can of cream of chicken soup if you like, instead of cream of mushroom....and I just use a package of shredded cheddar.


I always double the recipe because it's just that good!!!!

Does anyone have a recipe for brocolli cheddar soup? My husband love's it and I can't find a recipe for it. Thanks.
