Breakfast Casserole 6 jumbo eggs 1 package of shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 pound of sausage - cooked and drained 2 cups of half and half 6 slices of think bread such as Texas toast or french bread Shredded Pepper to taste Seasoned salt to taste 2 teaspoon dry mustard
Put cooked sausage in large mixing bowl. add cheese. Add bread that you have broken into tiny pieces and mix well. In separate bowl mix the eggs and cream. Pour this egg mixture over the sausage mixture and stir well. This will be very soupy. add seasoning and stir. Pour mixture in a very well greased 9 x 13 baking dish and cook at 350º for 1 hour. Some ovens use less time so start checking after about 35 minutes. The center will rise up and be firm to the touch
