If you blueberries are fresh, wash several times. Depending on the amount of blueberries you have, say a quart bowl, place about a cup of sugar and about 1/3 cup of water on them and stir, then let sit for a couple of hours stirring frequently. The longer you let them set, the sweeter they will be.
Mix 1 Cup of self-rising flour, 1 Cup of sugar, and 1 Cup of evaporated milk. Mix until well blended.

Melt a stick of butter into your baking dish. Gently pour the flour mixture evenly over the melted butter. Then carefully spoon blueberries with liquid over the flour mixture.

Bake at 350 until brown and tested to make sure middle is set. About 45 minutes to an hour - depends on the oven.
